- Killer in disguise
Bad Coburns is a rock band based in the northern Italy. From the end of 2018, the project quickly evolved from a sort of jam session between old friends, to a band driven by true rock n roll hunger, writing original material, thanks to the energy and ideas brought in by new members.
The band takes some cues from iconic 70s hard rock sounds and blends it with modern rock elements and fresh inspiration, heavy hard rock guitar riffs, with the addition of some bluesy, psych and even stoner sounds, and the band’s current sound is constantly evolving.
Settled on the name of “Bad Coburns” as a tribute to the actor James Coburn, who starred as the “villain” of many westerns, to represent that idea of dirty, ballsy and in your face rock n roll.
The debut single “Killer in disguise” and the self-released eponymous EP, was released in 2021.
